Look beyond what you see.

Do You See Me? explores the deeply human desire to be truly seen — not simply observed, but understood beyond appearances, expectations and the identities we present to the world.

The woman's striking blue eyes draw the viewer into an intimate encounter. Vibrant pink, turquoise and blue tones surround her face, while expressive, flowing lines move freely across the composition, blurring the boundaries between portraiture and abstraction.

These overlapping gestures suggest the invisible layers of identity — the emotions, experiences and unspoken stories that shape who we are but cannot always be recognized from the outside.

The contrast between the direct gaze and the fragmented visual language creates a delicate tension between visibility and vulnerability. There is both openness and resistance, a desire for connection and the instinct to protect what lies beneath the surface.

Rather than asking for admiration, the artwork asks for recognition. It reflects the universal longing to be accepted and understood as a complete human being, beyond the image others perceive.

Do You See Me? invites the viewer to look more closely, to question the difference between seeing and understanding, and to recognize the emotional complexity behind every face.

This is not about being looked at. It is about being seen.
