Two portraits. One identity. Two expressions of strength.
Emerald Gaze — Diptych brings together two contemporary portraits in a visual dialogue about identity, self-awareness and the freedom to define one's own worth.
In Emerald Gaze I, the woman's steady gaze reflects quiet confidence and inner balance. Her natural presence needs neither explanation nor recognition. Strength exists simply in being.
In Emerald Gaze II — Marked Crown, that same presence takes on a more assertive form. A bold, hand-drawn crown interrupts the composition, transforming quiet self-acceptance into a deliberate declaration of individuality.
The shared palette of warm yellows, turquoise tones and expressive dark curls connects the two portraits, while the contrasting graphic elements create tension and movement.
Together, the artworks explore two sides of personal strength: the calm certainty of knowing who you are and the courage to claim that identity on your own terms.
One does not need a crown to possess strength. The other chooses to wear one anyway.
