Two Sides, One Self explores the complexity of human identity — the different versions of ourselves that coexist beneath the surface.
Two contrasting faces emerge within a single composition, their blue and green eyes expressing different emotional worlds. Bold strokes of pink, orange, cobalt blue and green intersect and overlap, creating a visual tension between individuality and connection.
The fragmented composition reflects the contradictions within us: confidence and vulnerability, clarity and uncertainty, the parts we willingly reveal and those we instinctively protect.
Rather than resolving these contrasts, the artwork embraces them. Neither side is more authentic than the other. Together, they form a whole that is constantly shifting, evolving and redefining itself.
Two Sides, One Self invites the viewer to recognize the beauty of being more than one thing at once — without the need to choose between them.
